回覆刪除I am here to express my view of our decision in representation of Germany.
As all the delegates know, deciding if we let PROC assist EU in our debt crisis is a tough job.
In my opinion, I am opposed to letting China’s fund flow into EU. If we request China to help us, China will ask us to give them more advantages.
Will Beijing ask that we give Chinese people the benefit of Visa Free?
Will Beijing ask us to share the common market with them?
Will economic problem get more complicated than before if we promise all the requirement Beijing has asked?
If we want China to give us a hand, China will require some advantages. Perhaps this situation will not happen necessarily, but nobody can deny the possibility.
Accepting China’s fund doesn’t mean the best way to save our economy. The best way to wrestle with debt crisis is to ask Athens to reduce their purchase on social welfare and reform their financial system. The debt crisis resulted from Greek government’s unhealthy financial system. We can cut down on the money Athens should repay , but Athens must reform their financial system. If not, this problem will occur again in the future.
